LAND USE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
We acknowledge that the land on which we gather is covered by the 2018 Williams Treaties Settlement, specifically Treaty 18. This land is in the territory of the seven First Nations: the Chippewas of Beausoleil, of Georgina Island and of Rama, and the Mississaugas of Alderville, of Curve Lake, of Hiawatha, and of Scugog Island, collectively known as the Williams Treaties First Nation.

Saturday December 20,2025,Potluck 6:00 pm–8:30pm.Doors open @5:30pm for setup.
Join in the fun after the count to have some good food and find out what birds were counted. Bring a dish of your choice and bring your own cutlery, plates, drinking vessls and serving utensils. Also remember to take your stuff home at the end of the night.
TRIPS
A number of BFNC members have volunteered their time and expertise to bring you a great outdoor trip program. As usual we have some old favourites and some really exciting new ones. Although birds are a focus there will be something for every interest. Please join them in exploring the natural history of Simcoe county. Check our Facebook page for any last minute changes or check with the trip leader or Jim Coey NB trip coordinator (705) 543-1866.

MEETINGS
All regular meetings are held at Northwest Barrie United Church, 464 Ferndale Drive North, Barrie and start at 7:00pm.. Meetings are held in the Westennial Hall at the back of the church. Park in the big lot off Horsfield Drive..
