Saturday, June 6, 2026. Lauren Hughes / Jim Coey Meet at 8:00 a.m., at the end of 9^th Line, access off Hwy. 90 West In June of 2022 a number of singing Kirtland's Warbler males were found in the Packard tract and some lucky people got to see them. The hope is that some of these males will have mated and reared some offspring who will, in turn, return to the area. There are lots of other birds to see, along with wildflowers and butterflies. Easy walk, bring lots of water and snacks

TRIPS

A number of BFNC members have volunteered their time and expertise to bring you a great outdoor trip program. As usual we have some old favourites and some really exciting new ones. Although birds are a focus there will be something for every interest. Please join them in exploring the natural history of Simcoe county. MEETINGS

All regular meetings are held at Northwest Barrie United Church, 464 Ferndale Drive North, Barrie and start at 7:00pm.. Meetings are held in the Westennial Hall at the back of the church. Park in the big lot off Horsfield Drive..
