UPCOMING MEETINGS FALL 2026/SPRING 2027

Barrie United Church, 464 Ferndale Drive North, Barrie and start at 7:00pm.  Meetings are held in Westennial Hall at the back of the church.  Park in the big lot off of Horsfield Drive.

 

Remember to "LUG-A-MUG" for your beverages.

 

THE BUSINESS PORTION OF THE MEETINGS START AT 7:00 PM WITH THE SPEAKER TO FOLLOW.  DOORS WILL BE OPEN AT 6:45 PM.

Two new species Mute Swan and Purple Sandpiper were added to the all time count list.

The count totalled 62 species and we had 58 people in 20 parties in the field and 8 watching feeders.  Total of party hours was 84 with 43km on foot and 650 km driving,

TRIPS

A number of BFNC members have volunteered their time and expertise to bring you a great outdoor trip program.  As usual we have some old favourites and some really exciting new ones.  Although birds are a focus there will be something for every interest.  Please join them in exploring the natural history of Simcoe county.   Check our Facebook page for any last minute changes or check with the trip leader or Jim Coey NB trip coordinator
