This trip will explore the late November lakeshore along Kempenfelt Bay looking for lingering waterfowl, gulls, and late migrants. We will visit The Dock Road Jetty, Tyndale Park, Minet’s Point, Southshore Community Centre, Centennial Park, and Barrie Marina. Carpooling, easy walking. This can be a very cold outing so dress warmly from head to toe. Ends by 2:00 pm dependent on weather, birders, and birding conditions.

Location Meet at the City of Barrie Dock Road Municipal Parking lot at 204 Dock Road, south-east corner of Dock Road and Plunkett

TRIPS

A number of BFNC members have volunteered their time and expertise to bring you a great outdoor trip program. As usual we have some old favourites and some really exciting new ones. Although birds are a focus there will be something for every interest. Please join them in exploring the natural history of Simcoe county. MEETINGS

All regular meetings are held at Northwest Barrie United Church, 464 Ferndale Drive North, Barrie and start at 7:00pm.. Meetings are held in the Westennial Hall at the back of the church. Park in the big lot off Horsfield Drive..
